Happy New Year!
It’s been a while now (it feels like) since exams finished. We celebrated by going to Disneyland (which was a bit funny because Disney featured in a number of the classes that I took) and then we flew back to Sydney (home sweet home) to spend the break.
It’s amazing to reflect on how much happened and changed in 2017. Exactly a year ago, I was still frantically trying to finish my essays for business school and now, I’m having probably the most relaxed Christmas/ New Year break I’ve had since starting work.
Going back to school has been a bit of a mixed experience. I’m excited and thankful for the experience to learn about myself and do things that have been postponed because of work but a part of me does miss being in the workforce and having some responsibility (especially pertinent feeling after spending a night playing beer pong). Maybe I’m still just getting used to the student life. Regardless, I’m looking forward to what 2018 will bring!
